The Tranches: Steps Toward a Million

– The First Tranche: In October 2023 the foundation launched with 10 women, handpicked from different parts of Nigeria. These women underwent training in business strategy, marketing, and financial management. Armed with seed funding, they ventured into enterprises ranging from agriculture to small-scale manufacturing. Within a year, these 10 women had transformed their lives and their communities, proving the ripple effect of empowerment.
-The Second Tranche: Building on this success, Lady Chybee expanded the program in April 2024, empowering 32 women in Delta State, Nigeria. This tranche introduced mentorship programs, pairing beneficiaries with successful entrepreneurs who guided them through the challenges of running businesses. These women now run thriving ventures, employing others and contributing to their local economies.
– The Third Tranche: In October 2024, the foundation reached a new milestone, empowering 50 women across all within one year of the maiden startup. This tranche incorporated advanced monitoring and evaluation (M&E) processes, ensuring that the beneficiaries not only started businesses but sustained and scaled them. With access to digital tools and targeted workshops, these women are creating enterprises that are resilient and future-ready.
To date, 92 women have been directly empowered by the foundation, each a testament to Lady Chybee’s unwavering commitment to her mission. Yet, this is only the beginning.

The recent engagement with the monitoring and evaluation team highlights Lady Chybee’s dedication to long-term impact.
